As above, upto that stage of my "stubby mirrors" now, and just wondering how to go about it?

Been told to use a die-cutter, but im wondering if anyone knows any home methods? except the "alcohol string" method, as that diddnt work lol

make a template out of hardboard/plywood.Then use the glass cutter.
Score it once and tap it with a small hammer from behind,do it in sections

as mentioned, make a template out of a bit of ply board to the size of your new mirrors(whatever they may be).
borrow the glass cutter of greame, mark it,then tap with a small hammer from behind and you should have a nice neat edge.

use a gl;as cutter but score it half a dozen times makes it easyier to break it off with out shattering it

go to local halfords, if its not been mentioned yet..
they can sent a cardboard template of it off to summit; theyll make the one or two up proper no worries. Cost about a tenner i think. each.

buy some of that flexible sticky back mirror that you cut to size with scissors and just stick over the old broken glass, in your case just make a backing and stick to that. Its about £7 a sheet

i wouldnt have thought that would give the same quality of reflection as a proper glass mirror?

as said thou, id get a template made up and get a professional glass cutter to do it...

In nova stubby mirrors your not exactly going for a panoramic reflecting all seeing finish otherwise you wouldnt be doing it, you can see funk all in them anyhow, but no you can get perfectly good reflection with it.
