i work part time in a supermarket. We have got some new tills in and i had my training yesterday. i broke the till within 3 mins :) . I had totalled a bill up to ?9 million (i put through 1000s of TV's), and i told the till that the customer was paying the exact amount in cash. The system then told me that i should give the customer ?10 million in change .
It then shut down as the total bill was too high for it to handle :lol:

That will teach them not to put me on a checkout

I once did a similar thing, I put ?1,000,000 as the amount given, instead of ?1, lol

i work part time as a supervisor at work i somtimes put ?20 instead of ?2 but never done that, might try that

Jatinder it is people at work like you i hate :lol: . i am doing my job when all of a sudden a supervisor comes over "can you go on a checkout for a minute". 2 weeks later i come off and find that about ?200 worth of spirits and champagne has been stolen :x

yes but 200 quid in about 30mins is quite bad. multiple that by the number of times a day it happens and then by the total number of Sainsburys stores in the country. That would be one big number
