Think he wants to do it without having to paint the roof.

Ive heard of a few using carbon fibre sun roof blanks, unsure how they are fixed though. Im sure someone like performance trim would be able to knock one up if you didnt feel comfortable having a go yourself that is.

Performance trim made some for the corsa sport lads. I hear they were total ****...
will have a good look at weekend to see what options i have, can you get just a tilt sunroof?? just as i might put a cage in and they look close to the roof and flush with b pillars so might hit the seats as well

Are these still available though.
get a sheet of ally, cut it to size, joddle the edges, and bond it in place. Simples :)
Or buy my complete roof that I chopped off a scrapper lol
Hey Chris, not seen you on here for a while.
If you just bond a sheet in without any strengthening won't it sag after a while?
Jim.

Hey boss, still keep meaning to get over but time is not my friend atm lol
I doubt sagging would be much of a problem over such a small area with the edges flanged, or if it does, jam a bit of foam in above the cage lol

the curve of the roof will sort it out.
