xe engine conversion

does anyone no if the head from 2 litre turbo is compatible to run on the xe? if anyone knows any information would be brilliant

yes it is just remeber to swap the inlet cam over, if you still running all the xe stuff but if you want to turbo an xe your better off just buying the turbo engine as you need to mod the oil pipes in the block and change lots of stuff around to much hassle! but yes you can use the head its the same apart from the inlet cam i think something is telling me there is something also diff but i aint sure what hmmm

cheers! wot it is ive recently brought the nova with the engine already fitted but it wont start its getting fuel and a spark i was just wondering if it was the head of the turbo engine causing the problem
maybe something to do with the timing?

only differance is the LET cams are a milder cam. but from what you've sed i doubt its a head change.

have you checked the marks line up? and do you have compression? what plugs also? rotor arm/caps ok?

yea its all timed up perfect everthings sound it just wont run there champion spark plugs!

will it run at all? will it try to start? just could have a funked crank trigger

cheers lads problem solved it was the fuel pressure that was at fault
