NOISE!

They would be fine especially if the 90W value is in peak! Coz thats 45rms and a HU is usually 25/30rms per channel!

Basically just do it and it will be fine if you dont understand any of the above! No explosions or anything!

Thanks m8

Just need to go to maplin electronics for some crimp connectors for the end of the wires.

What size are they? any one know?

Put wires in but had on plugs on end.

The ones to the stereo can be done with connector blocks or just twisted and insulated if you want!

As for the speaker end, you will need the open spade ones, one big and one smaller most likely! take one to MAplins with you if you cant be sure or buy an assorted pack!

DODGY!

thats how you end up with an in car heater rather than a radio!!!!!!!!!

lol twisting ans insulation tape is dodgy.

so i went to local scrappy and got the wireing harness off a nova with rear speakers, but the connecors had been cut off at the rear.

I managed to get the connectors out of the iso.

Remove the back of the ISO
Prise out the yellow thing
Push two bits of wire down each side of the metal bits and use a flat screw driver to drive out the metal.

just push em back in to your ISO block, route cables and job done.

NOT with speaker wires! Just if he wanted to be slack! Personally id solder any wires at a split or as above! Did that to add items such as choke light to digi dash, using metal pins from old plug!

Who you calling slack  lol

I know how to solder and wouldn't dream of twisting wires together at all.
check my site for my electronics projects, neat n tidy. :D

My friend did the twist speaker wire trick and like mike said another heater appeared in the dash. lol

Not being funny, but if you well up on soldering & electronics etc, why was you asking how to connect up speakers!!

I'm fine with PC electronics cos i learnt that and now know what each wire is , but i'm new to auto electronics. so thats why i thought i'd ask just to make sure.

Sorry if that offended you. just wanted to make sure.

hmm ive got twisted wires and insulated for my power cable to my HU. it is soldered aswell but is this a hazard?

Not if its well insulated and away from chassis! To be honest it will most likely only blow a fuse! Just wrap insulation tape around! DONE!
