Morning all, I'm asking those who have got a LET in their MK1 Nova.
What dials are you using? Standard Nova dials or something else?
Feel free to post pics if you have anything different :thumb:

Why would you use anything else? Most people problery have mk2 dashs though, after all they are the best.

That's what Im saying, most LET's AFAIK are MK2's so they have the chance to fit Cav/Cally dials. Where as MK1's don't so was wondering if anyone had anything different. I know it's a long shot but thought I'd ask yo!
Just wanna have 8k on the dials damn it lol

Just a shame it dont go up to 8k on the rev counter (Might draw one in lol)
Oh and how accurate will they be on a F28? As accurate as now or worse?
Preety much the same as anything bud, also wheel/tyre size make a differance

Well thay are surprisingly accurate since fitting the 195/45 15's for obvious reasons, they're within 2mph of my GPS (show 2mph fast) .
As long the F28 doesn't throw it way off again. Like I said though such a shame they don't show the 8k mark.
Any ideas what the LET limiter is set to as standard? May need to alter the red line start point on them :thumb:
on the german ebay there's a shop who sells them up to 9000rpm and 300km/h
german rules state that after an engine conversion the dials need to read the topspeed lol

the f28 will need to be fitted with a f20 speedo drive other wise the figures will be way out

Standard LET limiter is at about 6800rpm.
I looked in to fitting cally/cav clocks... Funk that! Way to much hacking to do plus you use the oil pressure gauge..

Yeah I use all the guages. Well seeing as the LET rev limit is 6800 then I can alter the red line to that point. Forget hacking the dash if it goes wrong I'm screwed.

Nova clocks will show the redline...

^ Yes they will but the red line starts early on my clocks about 6600. So reduceing the red line a couple hundred rpms should looks fine :thumb:
Felt tip it as required lol
