taken from an ad for a silk violet gsi rep on ebay....

nova 2ltr redtop still on logbook as 1.2 its up to new owner if they want to change it,
the car has been fully seem welded and strengthened
its putting out 129 bhp at the wheels rolling road print out to prove that works out to about 180bhp at the flywheel
and in a car that weighs under a ton this car is not for the faint hearted
it has lowered uprated suspension (nearly new) 15" alloy wheels, astra gsi seats, digital dash, 6 point roll cage,
the mot and tax has expired needs abit of a clean up but still a great either for track days on to put back on the road
cash on collection
any questions call gary 07872 015815

even well lanes happy rollers arnt that good...

Wow i might ring gary up and ask him where he got his power run done, i reckon a figure of 200bhp @ wheels would be a good selling point for my rollerskates lol

Just had a nosey on there too, some interesting cars to say the least, and rickardo's aswell min i wish i had the dollar for that

180 bhp @ the fly > 129 @ the wheels? That's a canny loss of power from fly to wheels.

ive been told that you should ad about 15 to 19% to estimate the flywheel HP.

in this case... he's just over 150hp..

my losses on the vx (basically FWB losses lol) peaked at 17%, but then the loss is variable on ride height, tyre type, tyre pressure and millions of other things
