i have standard electric window and central locking loom and box and standard nova door solenoids what i cant figure out is how to tap my alarm into the wiring, i have a concept 300, i have gathered that the c/l works from the drivers solenoid, will i need to add a universal piggy back solenoid to pull the drivers door rod and fit a universal interface, thanks

you have two selonoids?

connect a wire that powers the passenger selonoid to the drivers side, then tap that wire in whatever way the alarm says

it isnt that simple as the drivers door solenoid is a switch solenoid that triggers the passenger solenoid

Your need to change the standard drivers side one to a motor rather then just a switch.

cheers aw06 but i have piggy backed the standard nova solenoid with a universal one but the alarm isnt switching current correctly im going to have another look at it tomorrow but what a pain it was drilling doors to get proper grommets in for the wiring

just wire it in to the box at the back of the parcel shelf (c/l relay) and get new solenoids are the nova ones are naff

i had a look at it and came to conclusion that the box has 2 wires to n/s motor 3 wires to o/s motor switch and 2 one live and one earth what im trying to do is get the c/l working off the clifford without adding another interface as the clifford just switches the earth

replace the driverside one with a passenger solenoid and the lock and unlock wires are at the box. passenger solenoid has lock and unlock, driverside is earth, lock and unlock.

I swapped the 3 wire solonoid in drivers door to a 5 wire one and then the two alarm wires just join to the two spare wires on the solonoid. Works fine.
