fuckin rust

noticed sum water on ma carpet this mornin and decided to check it out. pulled back the carpet and it was soaked. couldnt find where it was comin from at all. then put ma hand up above the pedals and was met the unpleasant crunch of the trusty rust.

spent most of the day treating it as i cant find any major holes in it. its the area above and around where the accelarator pedal enters the engine bay i think.

i have a pretty rusty battery tray is this where the water could be comin from?

cool, at least i know how to sort it now.

am gonna fill it fibreglass i think. will i have to put a run on it to take the water out of the tray??

My car doesnt really have much rust a few people saw it at mk, but when my uncle resparay it, i think one of the only places that was a bit rusty was the battery bit, so maybe it is commen or something?

Mine has gone a little bit to the right of where that is holed. Due to someone drilling into it to mount an alarm siren and not treating the holes.

Just cut out any manky metal and weld a patch in place, then paint over.

where does that hole drain to. could it be the water draining through this hole that is entering my car??
