I daresay traction is a problem, but that polo (or whatever) gives it a fair run for it's money

Yeah traction doesnt seem to be enough. 4x4 would see it move.

Difficult to even see the readouts at the RR but sounds mental. Could very well be 950BHP crazy

possible but bet it buggers up alot, surprise if the head doesnt stretch itself away from the block!

My thoughts exactly, look at rick drapers, that had so much boost it lifted the head and stretched its own head bolts, there is no way a turbo the size of that would not do the same thing, plus with nearly a thousand bhp in a fwd car, it wouldnt pull that well off the line, it would just chew tyres and sit there for a laugh:eek:

surely not 950? looks impresive but theres just too much power, he had to pull away like a poddle to just stop it spinning then put the power down when hes prbably in triple figures,

as soon as you cross the water to our european counterparts they add on 25-50% extra bhp for no apparent reason.

maybe they do it with no ancilaries?

don't know whether to call that, but the engines capable of making that power (not sure for how long)

Certainly sounds the part though - when he smoked the tyres up - it sounds like its revving quite high, its got a massive turbo and primaries etc, so its certainly going to be at least 4-500

Maths fail lol I'd say there's not enough drama in that run for it to be 950bhp, plus the one I've seen that may well be truly 950 (NZ saloon, not sure if anyone remembers it but I can never find it on youtube now!) Ran something like 8-9s and had mahoosive 'hoosier' style front tyres to keep the power under control.

950bhp from a 4-pot motor is pretty pointless tbh.

Sure sounds sweet though.

154mph, 8.07secs and all that wheelspin. If only it could get better traction. Still fairly quick lol

surely its in km/h? lol

And its not a quarter mile - looks more like 1/8 of a mile.

The amounth of mapping and launch control you would need to get a start that wouldnt rip the front of the car off, would have to bring the power RIGHT down in the first few gears anyway...

A 300 bhp LET is more beastly than that one tbh...

But that is with a cone air filter and custom exhaust. (despite that being necessary to fit the engine in it always seems to make it onto the spec sheet lol)
