i don't know how you'd go about disproving it, but i got 90 out of my 1.2i on the way back....on a private road obviously, so its possible, i don't think google would be of much use in this case, as i doubt theres many people out there that argue the point of it not being able to go that fast, maybe see one of the online free laywer things?:confused:

not necessarily. i got caught doing 108 in a 1.4sri corsa(hoooge run up pmsl, have the video somewhere as my mate was recording the speedo) was given a 28day ban and a 60 quid fine, no points and hardly affected my insurance at all. if i'd been doing under 100 it would have been points, rather be carless for a month tbh
