Thought so, Solar Sport aftermarket sunroof FTW. Never ever leaked :p

Anyway, check drainage channels, with the sunroof open fully (slid right back) pour some water onto the actual drainage area and see if the water drains away (you should see water escaping from under the car) If not blocked channels. :thumb:

Ive made the decision to break it for parts and buy a vectra sri 150 (without sunroof)

Add a gutter to catch it and channel it out the window.

My sunroof started leaking a while back, wasn't too bad til I got in one morning and sat in a 1" deep puddle.

Dried it out, went round the sunroof with vaseline. Ding, never leaked since.

My MR2 T bar roof leaks really bad, tried everything to sort it but nothing will. Left a newspaper on passenger seat the other day and it just turned into a pulp!

My MR2 T bar roof leaks really bad, tried everything to sort it but nothing will. Left a newspaper on passenger seat the other day and it just turned into a pulp!
Lee, have you tried getting the tube of stuff from the dealers that softens up the rubbers? You rub it in. Looks a bit like lube lol.
Worked on my mates Rev2. Plus he done the old sealent/cling film trick too.

Better than shelling out for the new rubbers!

Not yet, thats the next option I think.

Fitted the eccentric guides to pull roof down tighter and tried the clingfilm/sealant but it still leaks albeit not quite as bad. Only done drivers side so far though so no passengers for me at the moment lol

Every time I see a post by you and read 'Mk1 MR2' under your name, I'm reminded of the awesome light blue one on Azev A's with Rev 3 motor around here! Awesome car.
Bet yours is fun? I know I liked driving my mates Rev 2. Sticks like sh!t to a blanket lol

Mine is ok, in need of the 2.0 16v I have got ready to fit though. Budget project this one so no turbo power just yet.
