Need your help deciding what to do

Basically i am bored as fcuk with my life Lol, need something to keep me busy and want something new. i am wanting to move out but it doesnt look like its going to happen for a while so im wanting to mess about/change my drive and downstairs area.

It's driving me crazy my cars being outside as when it rains they're filthy the next day. havnt got much pictures to show the layout out of the area but im needing an idea to garage everything or tidy things up.

We were thinking of building an extension. Where the 2 bms are parked on the right handside was going to be built up from there so we could have a bigger area upstairs. however though if i was to put 2 garage doors on the ground floor it simply wouldnt be deep enough for a car, i doubt even a nova would squeeze in, so that is out of the question now.

The downstairs room on the right is just a spare room for me, got a few gym stuff in there and my shoes Lol, but its just a wasted space apart from a small area for the washing machine/etc and the stairway obviously. i am thinking of putting a garage door on there again and making a big double garage. the nova will easily be able to fit in there even with the staircase being there.

I have PLENTY of storage area for all my spare parts, my dads got a big shed, behind the shed its full of wheels, under the strairs i have spare doors/bonnets and behind the garage i have two 4ft tall rooms which is cluttered full of my stuff. the only problem i will have now is my third car will still be outside.

So my question is, is there any sort of roof/shelter i can have coming across from the right hand garage coming across to the end of the drive? also baring in mind i cant have a pillar to hold it up as itl be in the way of getting cars into the garages.

What would you do to neaten things up and have it so 3 cars are in shelter?

need ideas people, either inspiration to make the spare room into a garage, i will be knocking half the wall down in the middle to try and make it feel like one big, very tidy garage. and also need ideas of a roof for the outside area.

Whatever you decide on, if it's permanent, you will need planning permission if anything stuctural is being altered afaik.

Now's the time to wish you didn't p!ss neighbours off with 3am engine starts running on just the manifold etc! lol

I'd look into some form or car port personally, but I don't think you have enough room to have all 3 cars under cover and one garaged. Not without making your parents yard/house look like an eyesore anyway! lol

what about, knocking down the wall behind your nova, and make that a long garage. to fit two cars in. and then the third in your "gym" room.

or make some sort of cover over where your bmw's are now...

Im alowed 1 car, thats it, no bits apart from afew essentials!

Dads a biker, I have loads of bikes and bits, thats ok, but cars are a big no no!

Personally I would Build a garage to house 3 cars where the bms are parked, part covering the existing garage, making this into a spares store, take your dads shed stuff and put it in there, and make a 4th garage/workshop were your dads shed is/was!

i wont be building anything with bricks so wont be classed as permanent. was wanting a cover coming out from the wall but obviously wont be long enough to go to the edge, i suppose i could just get a single one, no idea where you can buy them though.

bmw - the rooms behind the garage are basically just the foundations, theyre only 4ft tall and are a few feet higher than the garage floor so that wouldnt work.

ye i am fairly lucky, probably why i havnt moved out yet cos there isnt much point!

i never actually though of building the double garage where my cars are parked and making the original one narrower, hmm il see if it can work. might be too much work though for just one more space really.

my dad has been saying all year that if he knew how much crap i would be buying we would of built a massive garage where his shed is, but that thing cost a fortune so it isnt as simple as just getting rid of it and building a garage.

the cheapest, quickest and easiest thing to do is probably make the spare room into a garage to my nova will go in there and black bm go into the other garage and then the third car can stay outside an il try fid somesort of roof to come out of the wall.
