after a wash & change of wheels!

I have an SR from which I was planning to sell the bits on
...but tempted to convert this car into a Mk2 facelift and put engine, interior, skirts etc on here! ...with the doors too!
Thinking GSi/SR suspension ..or lower it more like 60mm ...but isnt that way too bumpy and silly ..esp for the gf, if its here car??

NOT SURE... its my 2nd car (and for the gf to drive when mine is ready), but keeping it for the whole year.

Yeah mate, Id buy a set of mint doors and treat them to a few coats of hammerite inside and also go for the face lift.

As for rust on the main body, rub down, fill and spray, on the arches it depends on how bad!
Looks OK and ish is places so i'd knock all the rust off, rub down etc and see where you are! If you need to, then get some welding done and trim back the lips for bigger wheels!

In the close-up of the arch I did notice the lips are sagging. This is pretty normal in my experiance, it does mean they'll need re-folding whatever. Therefore it seems a good idea to roll the arches anyway, you'll need to respray after fixing the rust so get it done together. new dors are the simplest solution for this, try Dixons on 0113-288-0022 and see what they've got. New doors from Vauxhall are under ?100 as well, I'm told.

whats so special about it?
"NERD?" or "F200" ??

Ben (lurk75)
17-03-03, 04:07 PM
anything with 100, 200, 300 etc on are quite saught after. 200 especially as the Nissan sx 200's. Also the NRD are quite likely to be initials as there are a lot of names begining with N, Neil, Nick, Nicole, Natalie etc etc.

Only takes a few minutes to get valued, it wont be mega expensive but you make get ?6-700 for it.
