As a few of you were asking me at the MK meet why I'm selling my nova I thought I'd better post some pics of my new project. It's a 1968 Beetle, or should that be was :S, thats under going a serious transformation. Take a look and laugh, because when it's finished you should only see the back of it

Spose one good thing about age of it is the lack of emissions testing at mot

"no"
"pass"

When your project is done, will you have to pay tax for it, or will you not have to, seeing as its technically a 1968 car?

its a classic car so..

no tax...

and stupidly cheap classic car insurance ( as long as he says hell only do 2k miles a year and has access to another car to drive for everyday use )

ill have to get me a classic car :)

There is a yellow Porchse engined one in Bristol has a whale tail to hold the road, is mainly used for strip racing but looks nce as a road car.

Looks like alot of work but to be honest it's easier than throwing a LET in a nova, though I'm only going on what I've said as I'never put a LET in a nova :o
The Subaru engine fits in the back with only a little help from Mr Angle Grinder, and the repair panels I need are cheap. Initial plans are the project should take about a year from now, but thats subject to change.

Chris

PS. Thanks for the words of encouragement, I'll keep everyone updated as I go.
