strange noise from let turbo

car was going perfect last few days and at the drag day, but on the way home the turbo seemed to be whistling abit, no smoke, just a bit louder than usual, is it bearings or what do you think? when i welded my waste gate valve back on there didnt seem to be much play in the shaft!

It could be a boot leak from a split pipe or interconnect.

checked them bud, but its boosting perfect and going perfect!

Not a whistling from an inlet manifold gasket leak? Deffo from the turbo?

Penny valve? Quite common....

could be penny valve, as this came off and went out my exhaust recently, i welded it back on, but only after the weekend of drag racing has it tarted making this noise!
