For sale is my wifes Nova GSI, it has no mot or tax. This is an eye catching car where ever it goes. It will take £300 - £400 to put back on the road, and a little time. There seems to be alot wrong with this car, but its nothing major and really deserves a view. The car starts ever time without fail, and is a delight to drive.

Genuine engine with 124,000.

We do have the failure sheet, and it will need some it throughwelding on it to get through.

I would say the brakes discs, pads and rear shoes could do with replacing as it has been standing. It did not fail on this, but had an advisory.

The car has been delocked both doors and boot release professionally fitted and has a Thatcham Cat 1 Toad A606i alram and and seperate immobiliser fitted (intstructions included for the alarm). Passenger door lock is tempremental, we had the motor replaced when we first bought the car, and no problems after but as the car has been standing for 12 months the motors could do with looking at to be on the safe side.

Rear wash wiper does not work and the motor on the front wiper needs attention as the arm tends to slip off the motor when in use.

It has a full set of genuine GSI wheels which are in very good condition, with Opel centre caps, 4 good tyres but one has a slow puncture. The spare could do with replacing. I only sourced these wheels the beginning of the year.

We have had the passenger side wheel arch repaired, but never got around to the drivers side. We do have 1/2 litre or more matched paint which will be supplied.

The skirts are colour coded and a Izuzu bonet scoop fitted. Magnex back box fitted and K&N air filter, these are the only engine mods.

This is an early model with dizzy and no cat.

The interior is fair for its age, although the drivers side seat is a bit worse for wear. There is a nick in the side bolster. Underneath there is a burn due to an accident when the floor was being repiared.

New battery fitted in the last few months.

There car has had alot of money spent on it over time, at it comes with alot of reciepts and history. We were hoping to put the car back on the road, but just have not got round to it. It is a shame for it to be standing.

I wont let this car go for stupid money, would appreciate offers of around £700. I can deliver withing 120 miles of Cannock for cost of diesel and £50 for my time.

In the meantime I will try and figure out how to post photos for you to see this car.

Any questions please email me and I will forward you my phone number. Thanks Dave and Miriam

So sorry for the delay, we have decided not sell and complete the work ourselves.

Thanks for all your time and interest, and thanks to all those who helped with the photos.
