exhaust rubbing

when moving off I get my exhaust vibrating somewhere

also when idleing if you rev it it rattles.

So I've had me car in the air, noticed it rubbed on a certain heat shield that protected the handbreak cable. Bent this back so there is alot of clearence.

Then decided to change all the rubber supports.

Gave it a good wobble and no noise.

Now its back again ffs anyone got any ideas how to stop it?

Also there is a noise, which sounds like it is from the manifold at 3000 revs plus. Is this related?

Its a bastard that, my car still vibrates to this day but cant be bothered to fix it!!

The only way I think you will be able to do it is get ur car up on ramps & let sumone rev the car up while your under it & you will just have to check where its coming from & bend the metal hooks that hold the rubber supports on... Cant think of any other way of doing it?

Fix the above first as that might be making the noise at the manifold as it is virbrating through the exhaust.
