View Full Version : The definition of irony
Today, my sister had a letter from the tax office. Apparently she's underpaid her tax last year, so has had her code adjusted for next year to compensate. As she's on PAYE, its her employer who screwed something up.
Who does she work for? HMR&C, she's a tax bailiff.
Oh how I ROFL'ed lol
LMFAO, epic fail, but on a serious note, if they can get their own staffs stuff wrong how the fcuk are they sposed to get ours right?
This defies belief.

I hope she enjoyed the good life, and that next year she isn't going to get too raped on tax. Does she look like you?
Yes. But with no beard and bigger tits

no beard :( i only like my women with beards
i always get a letter from them after putting in my return telling me that i owe them between 40 & 55p, so like a good boy, i send them a cheque for a quid. then i get three letters over the year telling me i am in credit with them..........now, if the tax office got it to the nearest fiver & said, ok. its near enough, they would actually make way more money for the government instead of all this paperwork

I got a letter a few years back for 2 years on the trot saying I was 'taxed too much' and I ended up gettng 200 quid back and 300 quid back the following year.
My dads accountant told me this sorta thing happens very rarely.
