1.2 for 1.6 can you

can you swap the 1.2 engine for a 1.6 in a 1.2sx injection. as in will it fit

You can swap the 1.2 for almost whatever you want provided you have all the bits to do it.

Yeah. A 1600 GTE/GSi motor is known as a small block. Same physical size & mountings as the 1200.

Just a case of removing the complex wiring of your later 1200i & wiring in the 7 wires to make the 1600 run. You need the 1600's gearbox & clutch too.
