View Full Version : Identifying a paint colour name/code.

I dont think I found it in RJ's list, but I want to know the name & code of a shade of grey used on Vecta B CDX models around the 2000 year model & certainly later.

To describe it, it's a pearlescent grey looking shade that appears purpley aswell as having a gold pearl in it (I think). Hope that helps.

Any ideas?

think i know what colour you mean, its quite a dark colour untill you get some good light off it.

Ill keep an eye out at work, if we get any in ill get the paintcode but we dont see many

Edit the car is on ebay,and the owner says it has had a recent respray(not sure if its the factory colour,as i havent askedlol)if it is you could possibly get the paint code off him by asking a random question!

im pretty sure i know the colour your after,and this is similer is it not?

No. Not even close. Think Grey.

I looked at lots of Vectras on Autotrader, not one was in the colour I'm after.

From the sounds if it it is this.. 290/90L: North Cape Mica (96-99)

There's a guy on Mig who.s Astra is the colour but i cant find a pic...

Is that it then ^^ Hmm dark-ish pearl grey that changes colour n sunlight to a lighter grey with gold flip?

Hmmm that may go well on the bumpers of my Nova ;)

It has a purple tone to it too. It looks like it's wet most of the time aswell.

Well my current bumper colour is Ford graphite grey which is this
