I then fitted the eaton supercharger

Changed the boot badge
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/royalblue8vgti/30052006001.jpg
and had it remapped with the golf G60 injectors nearly running out of fuel (83% duty cycle) and put it on a rolling road (just) to see what she was putting down

189bhp and 162 lb/ft of torque from the standard internal 1272cc engine with stock head and exhaust manifold still in place.....check out the torque curve, amazing engine to drive
The sound it made was err, unique

I then decided i wanted to build a turbo sleeper so i went out and bought this mint bad boy
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/royalblue8vgti/polo.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/royalblue8vgti/polo1.jpg
to add to the sleeper look i got the most sleeper'ish wheels in the world
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/royalblue8vgti/Image146.jpg
but never really ran them if truth be told
Fitting a turbo into a mk2 polo was a little bit of a challange, this was why it had not been done before in the uk, as you can see, no room for a rad or intercooler in the usual place
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/royalblue8vgti/Image014.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/royalblue8vgti/Image025.jpg
the problem was solved with a 4 core mini rad fitted the the passenger side of the 2 1/2" downpipe
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/royalblue8vgti/Image052.jpg
the exhaust was 2 1/2" from the turbo to the down-turned diesel style tail pipe, again, to add to the sleeper appeal, car is wearing R888's in this picture
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/royalblue8vgti/Image099.jpg
here is the view most people got lol

'It's just an '84 shopping car officer, borrowed it off my nan'
She also had a 100% locking plate type diff etc etc, at 1 bar of boost two other similar spec'd engines with the same turbo both made 191bhp, i was running 1.5 bar.....never put it on the rollers unfortunately, was ill on the rolling road day
drive by video, listen to both front tyres squealing
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjcxTdCfV2M
and this one, 60-90 in 4th from below spool

At a quick glance you wouldn't have a clue it had circa 300bhp per ton would you??
Hope you enjoyed the read
