Right, time has come to have a clearout of cars and shells...., the first is my spare rally shell
it was built back in 1994 from a very low mileage, no rust solid shell by the previous owner, he spent ages removing all seam sealer and sound deadening, fitted a hockly plating kit, fully seam welded the shell, fitted a multipoint bolt in cage with seatbelt bar and forward triangulation, rolled the arch lips, & plated the floor for an internal linkage. the exterior is still in its original red with a white interior and white underbonnet. the underside is painted red. i brought it back in 2004 when i was heavily involved with a rally championship and needed a spare shell as a back up, that we could build in a week to keep us at the top.
it is rolling on standard suspension, but fitted with a homalagated disc brake rear axle and also group A front hubs/knuckles.
It is also fitted with a quick rack and strengthened bottom arms.
The shell is now surplus to requirements as im changing car next year.
