Recommendations on some 17cm door speakers that dont cost the earth.

For the last few years ive always had JBL GTO6526e Series speakers, 2way 180w coxial things. Good price, good qaulity & very good sounds.

But what else would you lot recommend?

I run alpine type E's in the back of the cav theyre a similar spec to the JBL ones 2way and all that jazz, and theyre a really good sound nice and clear and iirc £30-40 from hellfrauds so they should be a good option for ya!

Infinity Kappa 653.7 can be had for well under £70. Or their cheaper brand, Reference 6032i, can be had for closer to £50.

Alpine type G's are fairly good, if you pop some of the bumpy foam stuff behind them on the door skins as well that really helps to keep the sound in the car, about £60 or you could look at the component options for around £80
