whilst doing some work on my car over the last 2 nights, it was time to start stripping down my rear brakes.

the bleed nipple only went and snapped and sheered off inside it.

I am so annoyed, i am now stuck to when i shall get the car back on the road. it can be done and i aim for it to sorted for the nw rolling road day.

just a pain!

really really annoyed. Hope riggy can bail me out, but it wont be done in time for what i need.

its not the bleed nipple that i cant get.
it sheered off deep inside the housing, it now means i have to find new rear brakes. i tried drilling it out etc etc.

wanted the car back on the road by tomoz.

Think paying you a visit was the final nail in the coffin for my car, wouldn't pick up on the motorway and had to limp home, suspect head gasket as one of the plugs was wet when I took them out

cars done and fixed. i'm up and running.

now wait for this.

I cleaned the engine bay, the wheels and they look mint.

car looks really good and was well proud.

but

it then wouldn't start. absolutely no reason for it either. Checked plugs, dizzy, leads everything.
then it randomly started again.
strange!

I'll update my WIP thread tomoz once i have cleaned up the car a little more.
still a few more jobs to do prior to the RR day next sat.

Brains is on about a helicoil
I did the same thing when converting to rear disc beam except i tried heat, easy outs drilling then easy outs and fukk all would get it.Eventually i used an easy out too big and it smashed the caliper in about 4 bits lol
