Need a new one, is it just a 22 spline joint I need? wanted to double check as iirc there were a couple of different ones. The one my guy had listed was a mk 2 cav 1.6 inner cv joint for models 81-87 with 22 splines.

Right i spent ages pissing about with this.

Cav mk2 1.6 inner.

Remy/delco its not a 22spline on the shaft side.
Drive link same.
QH same.
Firstline same.

All of them list it with a 34 (iirc) spline where it joins the shaft. So they are wrong for us and anyone with a mk2 cav..

I beg to differ Benn, I bought two brand new drive link ones and they were 22 spline.

The mk2 1.6 Cav was a big block. Later mk3's were smallblock as per Novas & Astras.

Thats where a lot of confusion comes from. Not to mention varying engine & gearbox specs.
