first time in 2 years(isj) of owning it my car broke down :( think its something todo with the petrol i put in, i put it in after work drove about 2 miles and it started to loose power, so continued on towards home after about another 6 miles all power was lost now it just turns over doesnt start, weve put some wd in the injector and it began to fire and then dies again so tomorrow get some fuel to put into the injector to see if it is that, can you claim anything if the petrol station sold you dodgy petrol

Just a thought, might be water in the petrol.

Get some carb cleaner down the throttle body, it will deffo start then, better than WD-40.

hole in your tank lol.

and sounds like it could be fuel pump, if it started with some wd then died. would mean the wd has been burnt and it died again.

give the fuel pump a whack

What condition are the plugs? I'm assuming you've pulled them out to check.

You cant just wack the pump, its inside the fuel pump for a start.

He already knows what to do tomorrow, could be water in the fuel or somthing as silly as a dirty filter on the injector.

It started on 2 cylinders while at the side of the road

If its got fuel and spark it could be the cat blocked. No water in the fuel and it acualy smells of petrol?
