nova exhaust and gear box

would a corsa 1.2 8v 5 speed box fit onto my nova 1.2 8v merit
and
does the exhaust manifold have to be changed on my nova as im getting a straight through stainless steel system off my m8 which is for a corsa b and i dont know if i will be able to fit it as the manifold on mine i dont think it has the conection like the flange onit like the corsa b its off

the gearbox: yes

the exhaust: it would mount on the engine, but the system won't fit a nova.

most likely no. the corsa one will have a lambda probe thing & the nova probably won't

a nova 1.2 has a 4 into 1 exhaust as std. so if you are handy weith the tools, you might make it fit... but i don't think it will be that easy to do.

ohh i didnt look at the underneth properly as its was getting dark befor so i will look underneth 2moz and c if it has everything there onit as the exhaust i got on mine has a blow so i want rid and have a nice loud deep sound to it

You are asking me if a corsa b exhaust will fit a nova & I am telling you that it won't, unless you are going to modify it, ie: grinder, welder etc....... and it will simply be too much work so you may as well get one for a nova........... there is no point getting a performance one for a 1.2 cos it has too little power. but if you want to get some noise, get a backbox for it... 1.6 gte/gsi type ones will fit a std 1.2 exhaust.

please understand this, the corsa b is not the same as a nova.

because the springs, dampers, hubs etc are all the same (well ok ild differences but nothing that stops stuff bieng swapped). But the underside of the car isnt the same meaning the exhaust system wont mate to the manifold from a corsa.
