View Full Version : Give me some Prices homo's
Right From a total boggo nova to somthing which is useable on track/B Road and goes around corners well.
Drivability and handeling is the most important bit to be honest. Power needs to be around 200 brake per ton, So an XE will be used.
So on that, Give me some Prices "providing your bored and nothing better to do"
Cheers. :thumb:
Mine+polycarbs+XE+gaz suspension setup would be about £3000, then throttle bodies for itro 2k on standalone management, then just depends if you want a cage, diff, cost of tyres etc... I'd say you could do it for 4-5k though
What was the cost of the car MK?
I have an excel thing running on my car that puts it at £1900, bear in mind that's including my 1.6 setup, getting the exhaust made up etc, so if it was going straight to XE it'd be cheaper, but then my 2 Imola 2's only cost me around £240-270 mounted up and in the car, so I reckon as a rough guide it's pretty good.
edit: can send it over to you if you wanna see how much stuff has cost me and the exact spec of the car as it stands, just bear in mind it's reasonably private info and don't tell jimbob-mcgrew how much i bought my gsi interior for lol
about £15k if you get one off pistonheads, but, with your own work, i'd guess a couple of grand
ha h aha ha Nah dude, I dont wana be that nosey... The itch has taken its course and i need to build something again.
I've seen a nice shell which has popped up, but to get it handeling well. i need to work out costs for building it, running it and well parts for when i break it lol.
I was looking into a corsa xe or even another xsara VTS but again i know the nova inside out, so makes things easier.
i had around 1500-2000 price in mind tbh mowgli but its been a while since i built a nova.

What kinda spec do you want for that though? As a 200bhp XE will cost that much alone I'd say.
Buy mine for 1500 quid Gaz and bring your own wheels
