pin stipe on my bodywork..........

As i will be changing my drivers door,and both wings its going to look odd not having the original pin stripe down the bodywork once there painted up.

I am wondering if you can still get the pin stripe for the car?

And also how to remove the rest of it to put fresh pin stripe back on?
OR do you think i should just remove it anyways, or put it back on there?

I used my wifes hairdryer to get rid of my unwanted sticky stuff. lol

Take it off as it doesn't look right. I thought GTEs didn't have them as standard, just poverty spec models? Either way I'm sure it will look loads better with out.

Mine doesn't. mind you its been sprayed about 7 different times. Other then that I've not seen any other GTEs with pin stripes until now.

Pin stripe off mate. Mine had a lovely brown pin stripe like yours, took it off and it looks much tidier.

I agree with Benn, never seen a GTE with a pin stripe.

bought some wings off an SR once and it had those same stripes on.

as said /\ the gte never had pin stripes anyway, your gte would look load's better without them imo
i would get them off before you get the paint on :thumb:

get the 10mm red bumper vinyl back on there :cool:

Although in saying that pin stripes hide a few paint sins.

My car was probably sprayed whilst with the previous owner, think the body shop used the pin ,stripes to hide poor paint match which was totally obvious when I took them off lol muppets

well i am going to agree with you guys and remove the pin stripe totaly,as ive searched through the "features" and found only one with a pin stripe and the more i look at it against the other's it just doesnt seem right!

Also im wondering what colour to pin stripe the bumper's?(red seems obvious choice but..........)
im thinking black(for some wierd reason)possible photoshop anyone with a couple of different colour's?
