:thumb: Anyone going?? Im going to make a 1st/last apperance in the belmont before it has a little refurb but the first time 1/4mile with the bike carbs! Just wondered if anyone else was poping along?

i take it youve been before? ive never been to shakeys is there any differnce to santa pod? is there usually a big queue? how many runs etc?

been a few times and the queue is not to bad a lot better than pod and the strip is good

Gutted! Why dont we all organise it for the last runs they do on oct 30th nov 1st?
plenty of time to get ppl's car's ready an sort getting there,i could possibly put up a few the night before,if traveling a long distance?

Just got home wasnt a bad day but i prefere santa pod, couldnt get any traction down until my last run when i did a 14.9 @ 93mph

bit disappointed with my my time i think i will stick to going around a
circuits:thumb: my best time was 14.7@ 94.97 i did a 14.6 but no print out:mad:
there was some nice bits of kit about todaytho my favourite a old scirocco 20vturbo

no lsd :cry: i did think i need one as i was going up the strip and thought when i got there i should have put less fuel in as i had 3/4 of a tank:roll:

Must off been a bad day then, as me and my mates get good traction normally, and Ive always got better times here, but then i would not waste my time nor money traveling that far to do 3 runs for what i could to go all day long, but again it's all down to personal choice.

yeah mate i agree totall stratford took me about 45mins to get to. I will go again no doubt probably at the drop of a hat here and there ill leave Pod till pvs, Retro show, usc etc etc wasnt a bad day all in all weather was pukka!:thumb:

Kris and I didnt make it either - we were going to leave at about 11, then realised it takes over hours to get there!! Its only 78 miles ffs! lol

Deffo up for one of thos eabove dates though - someone organise something! ;)
