My GTE reads roughly 10mph out with my 16" wheels.
I followed my dad in his car while he did the speed limits, he flashed his hazards when he was doing the limit and i took note of what my speedo said. Luckily that its 10mph out as its easy enough to remember.
I dont think there is a way to calibrate it so it reads properly though.

It all depends on whether you've increased the overall diameter/circumference of your wheel and tyre package. If you've increased the diameter of your wheel but reduced the profile of your tyres accordingly, the speedo will read the same as it did.
Remember also that car speedos show inaccuracies of about 10% anyway.
Low profile 16's will be same as 14's with big wheels as said above basically and also since the speedos read under n e way, you wont even be that far out at high speeds on 17's!!
Id only worry with 18's or 19's! Or on 17's when doing 70mph on motorway! Just slow down a little bit more at speed cameras at higher speeds!! At lower speeds, it will be so minimal!
