80% of all novas get a new front panel at some point. my old one just about got 2 after the ****er never welded it on properly and i never bothered to check it until all the spot welds popped and it was a mess with the two skins coming away. complete ar$e up
Meant my battery tray actually lol Front panel is holding up ok, if it was a Mk1 it wouldn't do so well though ,theres a bit of rust on the LHS

Doh lol > You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Ernie again.
After i welded in the tie bar chassis plate's an a few other things, i pressure washed & tetrosyled the front inner archs an the chassis legs (took wings off, the bits you can see when wings are off like) an then pressure washed & tetrosyled the under side of the front lower valance, could explain why its still pukka i suppose?
i removed the tree and was left with this to work with.

just adjust the bonnet pin martin. theres 19mm nut i think that locks it off, undo this enough to allow you to undo the pin. a full turn should be about right
does your steering feel different at all?

could do with a new battery tray being fitted here too, theres a rust made drainage hole leading to the engine bay, its not made it to the inside of the car yet lol
:p Not sure how/when I'm gonna do it yet, project car as a daily is a bad idea lol As well needing to decide what i'm doing paint wise as that's shocking (you probably noticed it at trax) and generally how much I have to spend on the thing this year lol
