Fog Light Prob

hi i want 2 fit a set of foglights in the front bumper but there isn't enuff clearence behind the bumper coz of the metal skirt thats there, ive got 2 inches clearence but need 5 wot is the best way 2 get the clearence,

a, bash the skirt back with hammer(im sure this will b fun)
b, cut holes the shape of foglight from skirt

wot u all reckon?

erm from seeing what everyone else has done, they always cut an area out of the front valence.

when youve done it with an angle grinder or similar though........ MAKE SURE you paint the bare metal.

to do this i used humbrol enamel paint like what you use on airfix models or similar!!!! found in model shops, it avoids getting overspray etc

i had to do it when i cut my bonnet vents out....... looked well funny with a TINY paint brush painting my full scale model :lol:
