Are all standard red top ecus interchangeable between redtop engines? early type and late type etc...

nope i tried my dizzy 1 on my dispack as it was chipped and no no. I belive because they run slightly differnet sensors etc?

Yep - as long as the engine was a dizzy - it should be fine.
There may be issues if you have a really early engine without lambda - but even then I think they work....
They are swappable apart from dizzy and dispak

early ones are interchangable but they do behave differently ;) better off using like for like :)
i had an early type ecu and engine with no lambda senor , once needed to borrow my cousins ecu which was also a dizzy type but was for a lambda engine , the ecu worked and got me home but the car felt very under powerd
