Has anyone ever adapted a set of motorbike throttle bodies onto an SRi engine??
I'm really interested and am just wondering whats involved; i.e. what bike bodies are best, injectors, method of adaption etc etc.
Basically, what body to choose and how to get it on the engine, running!!
Any help / pics / power gain info etc etc....
Cheers, Nic

heard of R1 carbs being used. you can get a monifold made up if your good with a welder. or if not you could get one made from boggbrothers

Re manifolds - pm tom reid on here, im running one of his manifolds.
R1 carbs, as long as theyre carbs not throttle bodies - around 98-99 seem to be the most popular.
Fueling, facet cube pump and filter king filter/regulator - no fuelling management as such, just setting up the carbs initially.
Spark, could use standard dizzy (depending on what you have) but megajolt or similar seems to be much more effective - need this mapping of course.
...
carbs is not the same as bodies though.

Bttt
try on migweb mate its been done on there i think
imho bodies on an 8v would be somewhat of a waste.
its just the same as fitting bike carbs, but you need management to run the fuelling and spark
