Your need to change the head and inlet, and your have to change it to dizzy setup using all the stuff from a 1.4 sr, coil, mini loom, ign modual and dizzy.
Thats about it iirc

would it make it any easier if i put the 1.2 carb loom back in ??
What bits are you missing? I still have a few bits off my old one knocking about?

throttle position sensor fuel pressure regulator have you got and sr bits mate ?
You would need the 1.2 loom, all the above is just about doing the 1.4 mpi to carb conversion on the engine.
The car will need to go back to 1.2 carb spec
NO NO NO NOOOOOOO the sri engine is utterly fab! dont abuse the poor thing by carbing it (with anything bar 40's lol)

i no its a good engine i just prefer the sound of the carb and you can tune it alot finner
Might have the TPS in the garage. Have a MAP sensor and ECU also.
Don't have the fuel reg as it's part of the fuel rail IIRC.
Ok, I have the throttle switch. Got lots of butchered loom so almost certainly have the plug for it too.

Stick a K&N on, they sound superb :)

lol a carb that is only 'good' at certain points vs EFI that gets it pretty much spot on at many points... hmm
