standard GM
Mintex 1144 or 1155 are usually the top recommendations, EBC red stuffs seem to work ok on mine, but I only went for them as they were a cheap disc/pad combo deal tbh.

what are these likeley to cost me? going to look for mintex site
mintex (or TRD for 1144/55/66/77) site wont tell you much.
iirc 44's are 50ish and 55's are 70-80 (but last more than twice as long as 44's)
If your just doing road miles then standard pads are fine. Why bother going for expensive pads when you won't need the performance.
For track use use Mintex 1155 as Stu said. I have 1144's and I can get through them in a silly short time. 1155's next time around.

55's are ace on the road and track. they are the WIN pad
what do you pay for these matey?
not really relevant to novas lol
£200 for 4x288mm discs and front + rear 1155 pads
consider that the discs cost £20-25 each normally

I work for mintex and got standard discs and pads for 256MM cost me all of £20 lol
depends what your after, mintex tend to go right to the edge of the disc, don't go for cheap ones, or you'll have rust at the edge of the discs in a couple of weeks

I got standard mintex discs and pads for 16v callipers for £40 off ebay and they were awesome. Really sharp.
i'm running ferrodo DS2500 pads and Brembo max disks.
quite an expensive combination, but really works great

Yer, i uploaded the 2009/2010 cd catalogue when they first turned up a few months ago

Its not easy finding out the c-tech/mintex racing part numbers as we never seem to have any documents for it.
use the standard part numbers followed by m1144/m1155, but if your going uprated for the road m1144's will be fine
so pads for the 2 litre calibra brakes i have are mdb1889, so you should be able to add m1144 to the end, so it makes mdb1889m1144
but as i said, we get very little info about the racing pads, as we only really supply them to camskill and questmead, so best to check
questmead ftw :d
c-tech you might aswell forget about, they are random pads at best lol.
but yeah std part number + compound suffix is how it all works for them which is great.

mintex racing and c-tech are both the same pads, if someone got some of the early mintex racing pads, they would have been stamped as c-tech, because they just got people in the warehouse to put the c-tech pads in the mintex racing box lol
yep, been questmead myself, its handy for people in the northwest, they're only in oldham, they don't half do alot of f*cking about, don't be fooled when you see them quiet on the pc's, its just a ploy lol
