Good points: Recently fitted Hottuning coilovers. The chassis is straight and virtually rust free. Soundproofed behind the door cards, under the rear seat and the boot. 17cm Infinity components and fitted Alpine 6x9s in the rear parcel shelf, no head unit. Roof mount ariel. Smoothed arches, Engine wise, the Golf has had a Weber carb conversion, which has been set up properly, as well as new oil and filter, HT leads, dizzy cap, choke cable, and new brakes and flexi hoses for its MOT. It also has a full exhaust system fitted.
Bad points: The car has an issue starting sometimes and I imagine it’s the starter motor, as the battery seems fine. The clutch will also need replacing soon as it is quite worn out. It does need a new CV joint gaiter, The bodywork is far from mint and it full of small marks, although does look okay from a distance. The quad lamp grill needs its spotlights wiring up. The wings are also a BMW colour so don’t match the rest of the car. When I got the car the only history that was with it was its last MOT certificate, so the only history I have is from when I’ve owned it. Also there is no headlining. Paint is coming of wheels.
