Dole are stupid ?

Lost my job, 3 weeks ago ( fully qualified mechanic )
signed on the dole to recieve £100 every 2 weeks.

i signed on the 2nd of this month
3 weeks later i look in my account and have £63.57 paid in today
Am i been stupid or is there something im missing ?

( 1st time on the dole so dont know the ropes )
Start a new job on monday but its not the point really

iirc? it takes a week or so to complete your initail claim, so the £63.57 would be the first week! "i think" best bet is go in and ask tbh!

also if you signed on the 2nd they should have asked you to sign again on the 16th?

63.57 will be the amount from the start of the claim to this period IE: not a full 2 weeks.
