Now at GAME you can buy the Xbox elite + halo odst + need for speed shift for just £200!! Wow! Tempted to wiz to the shops 2nite in the nova to get one lol My other broke over 3 month ago for the second time!! So for this reason im not sure wether i should bother? On the other hand theres plenty of new games out that i need to wup ass on mwuhahaha

The new ones use the jasper motherboard, which are much more reliable, for about the first year the elite used the old board, so getting a modern elite should be ok, mine broke last saturday strangely enough!

ps3 is the way to go.

But thats a bargain for the elite. Just watch there not shifting old stock of elites with the old motorboard

yeah i saw watchdog but i bet those were the very first models, everyone i know with an xbox says its better and then they even argue that point when its fu*ked i just laugh at them, lots of them are getting ps3s now too!!

get a ps3. its the smartest option.
xbox and microsoft are rip offs. have fun paying for everything extra,
xbox live is another 40 quid
every little add on is 10 quid
they are sneaky with there "auto renewal" too.
doesnt play old xbox games. although claims too.
more likely to break.

I've played both, and i doubt it was the very first model that went wrong, otherwise it would have come around a few years ago.

the PSN is crap, yes its free, but i'd rather pay for something that works properly.

yes the add-ons are stupid, i just don't bother with them lol
you can set auto-renew

it doesn't claim to play all xbox games, its got a list of what will work

yes, more likely to break, but it has a 3 year warranty

Well i went and bought one and it works hahar:) has anyone played need for speed then? I think its fookin awesome!!!! Really realistic...my escosrt cossie is way fast! Lol
