the man has been banned from everywhere except nascar & dodgems for life.......... a ban from f1 means he could be kicked out of the footie team he co-owns with Bernie Ecclestone according to fa rules......
even the drivers he manages have got to tear up their contracts immediately

i never liked him anyway... back in the benetton days, all manner of cheating and rule bending went on. remember the big pit lane fire? apparently a junior member of staff had worked out independantly of anyone else that if he removed bits of the fuel rig, it would feed fuel in about 2 seconds quicker................

look at the history of Mr flavios work in driver management.....

driver #1 M. Schumacher Won 2 titles
driver#2 M brundle won nothing
J Herbert won the british GP by accident
J Verstappen got set on fire
etc....

fast forward to Renault

Driver #1 Alonso won 2 titles
driver #2 Button was berated by flavio every week for being crap

Not fooking likely. lol the FIA cant afford to lose a manufacturer, hence the leinient (sp??) IMO punishment.

If, however, they do pull ot it will be major. Renault supply engines for Red Bull and IIRC Torro Rosso (or are the still last seasons Ferrari lumps?) Williams are looking to Renault as an engine supplier if /when Toyota pull out.

Its all going on at the moment, just a shame its all talk and headlines about off track shiznit :(
