Well after the demise of the trusty red XE Nova I decided to buy something newer. Viewed a few Clio 172's but they were dogs in the price range I wanted to spend so bought a Corsa GSi.

Don't plan on going mad with this one, have fitted the XE out of my Nova and done a few cosmetic touches so far but don't want to turn it into a money pit.

Mods so far are smoked Depo headlights, tigra scuttle, vectra delocked handles, coilovers, Cav turbo brakes and Astra 15's and a more subtle exhaust.

Got a new bonnet waiting to be painted at the moment as this one is the worst bonnet i've ever seen but other than that car is pretty solid.

Have G3'd and polished it today as the roof and passenger side is still original paint so fades to pink faster than the other side which has had paint at some point.

Desperately need some front jacking covers but they are like rocking horse **** to find. It looks terrible without them but most GSi's seem to be missing them.

can still buy jacking point covers from vauxhall will probly be the only place you will find some without buying a full set of skirts from someone

I heard they were NLS at Vauxhall. Will give them a ring tomorrow and see.

deffo still get them i recently ordered the 4 plus clips

im going to finish my xe sport then get it sold and get a nice clean gsi to play with

just nick sams bonnet lol ,

i have a jacking cover from my old gsi in my garage if one of the draws at the back , not too sure if its front or back cant remember , go get it if you still have the keys :thumb:

I can assure you its not, thats why pictures are from a distance. There are bubbles of rust all over it, think its been painted badly in the past.

Sort of switch between this and my MR2 depending on my mood. Tend to drive each to work for a week at a time and then get bored.

Got a bonnet in the bodyshop being painted now so should look loads better then.

Also had the Toyo's off the Nova fitted on the front and relegated the cheapo crap tyres to the bin. Nankangs moved to the back now as they were better than the other crap I removed lol

Might be matts chance to get a tidy xe engine:thumb:
