corsa 1.6 16v into nova??

hi im thinking of doing a 1.6 16v convertion on my 1.0 nova saloon but corsas are wider than novas so driveshafts wont fit wot convertion kits and other parts am i going 2 need please

fit nova shafts
you will need a nova mount kit as the 1ltr mounts are different than 1.2 upwards
fuel pump
brakes

We used MPI tank and pump and normal Nova driveshafts

how much will this convertion cost ruffley if any ideas??

Not sure, i dont know the going rate for the tank, pump etc the engines are currently going for around £250 up my end of the country.

tank- no.
pump- maybe depending on what nova tank you use

no, dont need anything like that, just a normal 1.2/1.3/1.4/1.6 driver's side engine mount

a 1.0 nova

a corsa 16v engine (complete with everything)

nova 1.4 or 1.6 external pump & tank
or nova spi tank & astra mk3 mpi pump

a rhs engine mount (bracket) off a nova 1.2/1.3/1.4/1.6

a haynes book

some ability with wiring & sorting pipes out.

Firstly use the right section. There is a mechanical section for threads such as these. Secondly, have a search in the above section. 1.6 16v conversions are not new, so you should find pretty much all answers to your questions.



so what parts am i going 2 need and from what model car please ??


Engine, loom etc. All parts need to make the engine fit and run TBH.

the 1.0 shafts will work fine........

stop kidding yourself that gte mechanical bits are massively better than std ones
