hi guys

youve probably all seen my GTE basically i bought it off a bloke in nottingham who claimed he had restored it i knew it wasnt really a top job but i had to have it !! the rear arch has been fillered but is painted perfectly so not noticable but i have the panel and will get it done as soon as money allows ! started the process of trying to kill some rust tidy some bits up today so nova will be off the road for a bit i want to get any plates it needs welded. its needs the splash guards sorting up sills seem fine it needs a new rear arch as i said and will need two new wings eventually when get some cash together the other will be fine and look perfect for now got the bumper off front panel has been painted but is fine for rust.i will be undersealing the whole car this week when its plated up and i have cleaned it up. heres the pics anyway i will update as the days go on !

where the bottom of the p/s wing meets the sill he has just painted it as its hidden under the skirt :tard:

boot floor slight holes around the box sections where the seam is.

the bits of rust you have are normal as at the bottom of the front wings mud collects and starts to rust but are relitivety easy to sort.

yeah the fact they wereobviously rusty before and the fool who painted it just painted it over them !

Never good when someone just ignores rust and bodges over it without getting rid of the problem in the first place. I love this colour though and although theres bits of rust it dosent seem to be overly serious. Good luck with it.

less rusty than mine, i have plated both rear and front chassis rails, rebuilt n/s/r sill , and the bottom of the headlights,... but mines only a budget build, will never be perfect but hopefully will be niceish one day!

thats the best couler for a gte!! make shure she gets restored matey but a very nie car you have got there!!
