Selling my C16SE 1.6 8v engine complete with wiring loom, ECU, gearbox, driveshafts, mounts and power steering pump.
Engine was originally in an M reg MK3 Astra Cesaro which i owned for nearly a year it was removed from that car on 87,000 miles. I then fitted the engine into my Corsa and drove 170 miles in that.
Engine will need a head gasket set (inlet gasket, exhaust gasket, head gasket). The belt is currently removed from the camshaft pulley and just needs bottom pulley removed to change the belt over.
Engine pulled really well in both vehicles, did not burn oil or tap. Did show signs of slight white fumes and coolant indicated the start of head gasket failure which is why it will need replaced.
Reason for sale is that im breaking my Corsa and going for a Nova, i will have no use for the engine.
Please note that once gaskets and belt are done this is a simple bolt in to a Corsa as i have re-wired the plugs to match those on a Corsa loom.
I will split if it means that i can shift it quicker but at the moment its priced to sell as it is. (I do not accept paypal so any posted parts will need to be paid via cheque or cash)
