View Full Version : F13 CR Gearbox ?

Quick question...

Does the F13 CR gearbox come with 'F13' or 'F13 CR' stamped on it anywhere

I have in my garage an F13 which was very long ratio'd and also an F10 but theres a supposed F13 CR in the orange Nova now but it doesn't have anything stamped on it

i have a f13 cr box but i could find nothing stamped on it

It'll be stamped on the cluster iirc.

Any pictures of where they're stamped John ? So I can double check its a CR box in the Nova

most of the cr (close ratio) boxs comes in the sr novas and you should see a wd (wide ratio) on it if not it is located at the bottom of the cluster on a wee lip, very hard to get these boxs now

It's stamped on the flat bit of the cluster, above the tie bar (just visible here, you can see where i sanded it to check what mine was) My f13 is C 374 Indicating that it's close ratio and has a f/d ratio 3 74.

The f13 was only fitted in the NOVA gte/gsi iirc, the NOVA sr had an f10. (but can be found in other vauxhall models such as corsas and astras too!)

Surely Astra/Corsas came with them too?

The box in the orange Nova is from a Corsa B SRi 8v
