Something aint right. It seems like i have tried everything possibe but obviously haven't.

The problem is the fact that my amp is not recieving anything from my head unit. I have tested the amp in another car and it worked fine i have tested the subs and they were fine i have also tried three input cables from my head unit to the amp and still im getting nothing it was working fine until i wired it all up a different way so i had a decent fuse box in the system. I have since taken the fuse box out and re wired the amp up how it always used to be and still i am not getting the input required. I have even changed the head unit to c wether it was that and it still didnt work. Has anybody had this or a similar problem to this one. PLEASE HELP IT IS REALLY STARTING P1SS ME OFF.

cheers

on the amp u need large fused power cable from battery.

2 rcu's from head unit. make sure they are wired the correct way round. (not fused)

the remote wire (thin wire from hu to amp) not fused

also at the amp check your earth is good as it may not be completing the circuit.

could you have done any damage to the amp or hu whilest wiring it up?

earth is usually the cause why ppl cant get there amp working. Make sure is PROPERLY earthed to the chassis with metal to metal contact.

I did change the earth for the better i moved it from the side of the boot where that plastic is to the bit which holds the clip which the seat goes back onto i rubbed it all down but i still aint gettin no input. The thing that is winding me up is the fact that i am getting power to the amp. Is there any chance that a dodgy speaker connection at the head unit could cause the problem of no input being sent to my amp??

instead of wiring your blue switched remote lead from the amp to your head unit - try it to a ignition live

Have you checked your fuse in your amp leads? Sound simple but it is easily done...
