Ive just bought corsa above but whn im going up a steepish hill its no power but on a flat its fine me and my mate aint a clue its just had an mot anybody any idea

its a 1.2 drop it to second gets it up hills lol

I do pal but it only gets about 21mph is there anything tht might need having a look at pal

Normal driving does it rev and drive fine? If your in 4th/5th and floor it does it pick up well?

no funny noises and it does rev and drive fine normally just been told its been stood for about 4 mnths could tht be the problem

yeah - theyre not the most powerful car or torqey so if youve got 2 biggish blokes in a car going up a steepish hill im guessing most small engined cars of this type would go slowly

what about uping engine size my mate reckons its easy as they bolt straight in

as long as you inform your insurance and the dvla about an engine swap

Define bigger, a 1.4 SPI would just bolt in, but will still need ecu changing and maybe the loom.

Plus the gearbox.

But a 2.0 will just bolt in....
