Ok, the first F20 I bought had a knackered casing. I bought a new casing to transfer all of the internals + a new diff in to. Just been inspecting it tonight and found this:

So, another casing fit for scrap? wtf could cause damage like this?

my guess is very poor reassembly, or accident damage... gm would never let one out the factory like that...

Take it back and wrap it round their head if they've sold you that as a good casing iain!

Yeah sorting another one out, getting another complete F20 minus what I paid for the bare casing, so will have 2 sets of internals etc to make one good one! :)
